How to prepare & keep your colour

Before your appointment

  • Book your patch test at least 48 hours before it's required for all new clients.

  • Arrive with clean brows and lashes, free of make-up if you can.

  • Avoid using oil-based eye products on the day of your appointment.

  • Remove contact lenses before an eyelash tint, and bring your glasses.

  • Let me know if you've had any reaction to tint or dye in the past.

After your tint

  • Avoid rubbing or wetting the area for around 12 hours to let the colour settle.

  • Skip swimming, saunas and steam rooms for the first 24 hours.

  • Steer clear of oil-based cleansers and removers, which can fade the tint faster.

  • A light coat of brow gel or clear serum keeps brows looking groomed between visits.

  • Rebook every 4–6 weeks to keep your colour looking its freshest.

  • Tints contain dye, and a small number of people can be sensitive to it. A patch test at least 48 hours beforehand checks your skin reacts well, so your treatment is completely safe. It's required for all new clients and if it's been a while since your last visit it only takes a moment.

  • An eyebrow tint typically lasts around 4–6 weeks and an eyelash tint around 4–5 weeks, depending on your natural hair cycle, skin type and skincare routine. Regular top-ups keep the colour looking its best.

  • Not at all it's completely painless and very relaxing. For lash tints your eyes stay gently closed throughout, and the whole treatment takes just a few quiet minutes.

  • Absolutely. I match the shade to your colouring and the look you want, so the result enhances your features and looks natural never harsh or unnatural. We can go subtle or a touch bolder, whatever you prefer.

  • It's best to avoid make-up and water around the area for about 12 hours so the colour settles fully. After that, you can return to your normal routine though you may find you reach for the mascara and pencil far less.
