THE TREATMENT
What is Shellac, and why choose it?
Shellac is a hybrid between nail polish and gel brushed on just like a polish, then cured under a lamp so it sets instantly to a hard, glossy, chip‑free finish. There's no waiting around for it to dry and no smudges on the way home.
The colour stays beautifully glossy for up to two weeks, making it perfect for holidays, weddings and busy lives. When you're ready for a change, it's gently soaked off rather than picked or peeled, keeping the natural nail protected. Available on fingers, toes, or both.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Shellac typically stays glossy and chip-free for up to two weeks on fingers, and often longer on toes since they take less wear. How long it lasts also depends on your nail growth and how hard you are on your hands day to day.
-
Regular polish dries on the surface and can take a while to set, chipping within a few days. Shellac is cured under a lamp so it sets instantly to a hard, high-shine finish that lasts for weeks with no smudging or drying time.
-
They're very similar both are cured under a lamp for a long-lasting finish. Shellac is a specific brand of hybrid polish known for its glossy wear and gentle soak-off removal. I'll always recommend the best option for your nails.
-
When applied and removed correctly, Shellac is kind to your nails. The key is a gentle soak-off rather than picking or peeling, which is what can cause damage. Occasional breaks between applications also help keep nails strong and healthy.
-
It's gently soaked off with a special remover that breaks down the colour so it lifts away without force. Please never pick or peel it yourself, as this takes layers of the natural nail with it. Book a removal and I'll take care of it for you.
