How to prepare & care for your hands
Before your appointment
Remove any existing nail polish before you arrive, or let me know and I'll take it off for you.
Avoid cutting your cuticles at home in the days before I'll care for them gently for you.
Skip hand cream right before your visit so polish can adhere beautifully.
Mention any skin conditions, allergies or very brittle nails when you book.
Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in and fully relax.
After your manicure
Allow regular polish a little time to fully harden before reaching into bags or pockets.
Wear gloves for washing up and cleaning to protect your polish and your skin.
Moisturise your hands and massage in cuticle oil daily to keep skin and nails nourished.
Avoid using your nails as tools to prevent chips, snags and breakages.
Rebook every 2–3 weeks (or as gel grows out) to keep nails looking their best.
